Three weeks ago our friends, the Jeppsens, came up from Nevada. Nash is a senior, you see, and off to BYU-I next year. Lucky for us (and him) we happen to live close enough that they could come tour the campus and spend the weekend with us.
They got to Rexburg just as I was getting ready to teach class. I was so excited to see Vicki that I could hardly focus on my class. Vicki, Nash, Nik, and Austin showed up just at the end of class. They were going to have a tour of campus and meet with an advisor and then they would come over to the house.
We didn't do a whole lot while they were here. Vicki helped me with some projects around the house and gave me some great ideas! Actually, she didn't really help me with projects as much as she helped me spend money on projects I need to finish. I will get photos posted soon, though, so Vicki can see the finished products. Vicki also helped Kilee select the beads for and make a watch bracelet. Kilee loves it!
We ran away from home one night and introduced Nash and Vicki to Cold Stone Creamery. I believe it will become Nash's favorite. That is if Nash can ever tear himself away from more important matters, like texting.

The Jeppsens taught us a new game called Trash. The kids had a great time playing it and my kids still enjoy it.
We made cinnamon rolls (and I think that's all we ate) and played the Wii.
Just for the record, Vicki is the Wii Queen. She kicked all of our butts. All of us.
We are so excited for Nash to come up here to school next year. He knows where my pantry is now and that's all that matters.

Love it! We had a good time! Can't wait to see you again! BTW I don't think I'm THAT good at the Wii!
